Backstory[]
Descended from a long line of gunsmiths, Cormac Ross claims that his ancestors forged armor and claymores for Scottish kings. He took over the family business from his father, but he lacked his father's close ties to key government figures. When Ross faced bankruptcy, Persephone paid his debts so he could develop and upkeep high end weapons exclusively for M.A.Y.H.E.M.
On Devil's Night[]
After Devil's Night, defense contracts began going to companies politically connected to L.E.G.I.O.N. This forced Claymore's family business into bankruptcy and into Persephone's pocket.

He gets along with Gremlin and most of the agents, but he has a known rivalry with Quartermile.
